Isn't this marvellous? The Bishop's Glen is full of these architectural clusters of toadstools; if you click on this photo you'll go through to others, including one of a veritable Minas Tirith of the things. I always feel faintly creepy about them, and this was no exception - they glisten damply in a way I find sinister.
Yes indeed, the photograph is absolutely marvelous! I navigated through your Flickr account and you have wonderful pictures. They are quite interesting. When I retire, I hope to become a better photographer and learn more in that area. With your permission, I would like to use some of your pictures to spark some creative writing/blogging from my fifth graders. I'll be starting up with a whole class in a few weeks. My problem is that I may not be able to put credits on their blogs (you know how frightened our Congress men are of links and such :-)). I could credit them on the class blog I will be creating. I totally understand though if you do not wish your pictures to be used in this way.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your wonderful pictures and your thoughts. Great blogging!
Anne - you're welcome to use the photos in this way. I love the idea of them sparking off new thoughts. I'd like to read what they come up with, if I may?
ReplyDeleteHow satisfactory to have your photos used in this way. Perhaps I will photograph the ones in my garden when it stops raining! Strange to have so many when the ground was dry and hard for so much of the summer.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photographs! And being used for the thing we love best... marvelous.
