It's a hard life ...

As you can see in the photo, we've made the transition to summer with remarkable ease (even if it is 28 degrees). I've even made the transition to using a PC (thanks, Edgar!) instead of my beloved Mac, and you can blame any typos (I've spotted a few already) on the fact that I don't yet know how to edit them on it.

And for the culturally savvy among you - I keep thinking about R.S.Thomas when I look at Lake Dunstan...

  1. It looks great. Glad you are settling in. We are having reasonable, sunny weather with -5 at night! The rain is due to return tomorrow.Continue to enjoy yourselves in summertime!

  2. What she said.

Checked the old family seat today and all well, but I went in the back and forgot to look for the post so I'll pop back in on Monday. However, vigilant neighbour over the wall asked what I was doing and JD barked at him *g*

No, I didn't take the dogs into the house!

    'Nobody' I would know

you missed some beautiful(cold)sunshine here today.

  4. I must be "culturally savvy" ! I understood your R.S. Thomas reference.

    LOL ;)

  5. Don - if you remember, we were supposed to collaborate on a Credit Interp prelim and you went off sick; I chose the passage and it was "Reservoirs". Happy days?

Di - thanks, kid - keep up the good work!

Bun - we had rain in the night (very heavy) - but all gone this morning!

Jimmy - my fave poet, is RST.

nothing has slapped me about the chops so far.
I don't know if I could cope with reading a lot of his work it's so dour so far.
